UnitOps

Privacy policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

This policy explains what information UnitOps collects, why, and how it is handled. UnitOps is a shift bidding tool for nursing units. It is not a clinical system and is not meant to hold patient information.

What we collect

Staff information your organization provides: names, employee IDs, job roles, FTE, hire, unit and license dates, seniority hours, current shift, and optionally email and phone number.

Account information: your name and email when you sign in, including through Google sign-in. We do not receive your Google password.

Shuffle activity: shift preferences, awards, and the record of how results were decided.

Usage information: basic analytics such as pages visited, device and browser type, used to keep the service working and improve it.

Messages: what you send through our contact or feedback forms.

How we use it

To run shift shuffles for your organization, send bidding and results emails, show managers phone numbers during live offers, provide support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Each organization's data is kept separate. Managers see their own organization's staff and results. Nurses see their own preferences and awards. The Shuffle Board never shows phone numbers or anyone's preference list, and managers can hide names. We use service providers for hosting, email delivery and analytics, who process data only to provide those services.

Keeping and deleting data

Data is kept while your organization uses UnitOps. Deleted items go to Recently deleted and are then removed permanently. Your organization can ask us to export or delete its data at any time.

Your choices

You can ask your manager or us to correct or remove your information. Staff records are controlled by your employer, so some requests may be passed to them.
